Del Maguey Iberico Mezcal
Del Maguey Iberico is a unique mezcal made with Ibérico de Bellota ham, the legendary ham made of free-range, acorn-fed, black-footed Ibérico pigs from Spain. All mezcal produced in the village of Santa Catarina Minas is made in small clay stills with carrizo tubing. The idea for Del Maguey Iberico was inspired by Del Maguey Pechuga mezcal, which is crafted using a procedure that includes distilling the spirit three times and incorporating wild mountain fruits, almonds, white rice and a whole chicken breast (pechuga) resulting in a crystal clear liquid of amazing taste and smoothness. The result is a wonderful marriage of flavors and aromas.
